Sycamore State Park is a 2,384-acre protected woodlands and public recreation. The park offers horseback riding, hiking, hunting, and group camping along with picnic shelters. It also states winter activities sledding, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, ice skating, and ice fishing.

Oregon District

Looking for some nightlife fun? Out on 5th is the street closure of Fifth Street in Downtown Dayton hot spot the Oregon District. Closing down Fifth Street from Patterson Blvd to Wayne Ave. every Friday night through Sunday evening allows the business district to open the street for guests to shop, dine and relax.

Cox Arboretum

The Cox Arboretum and Gardens MetroPark is a 189 acres arboretum and park located at 6733 Springboro Pike, Dayton, Ohio. It is open daily without charge. Cox Arboretum and Gardens MetroPark is one of many Dayton area parks within the Five Rivers Metroparks system.
